Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Thank you for subscribing to HintApp ("the Service"). We want to ensure you have a clear understanding of how subscription renewals, cancellations, and refunds work on our platform.
By purchasing a subscription, you agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into our main Terms & Conditions.
1. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your HintApp subscription at any time, for any reason.
- How to Cancel: To cancel your subscription, log into your account on our website, navigate to the Account Settings or Billing page, and click on "Cancel Subscription." Follow the on-screen prompts until you receive a cancellation confirmation message or email.
- App Store Sign-ups: If you subscribed through a third-party application store (such as the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Roku, or Amazon Prime), you must cancel your subscription directly through that third-party platform's account settings. We cannot manage or cancel subscriptions purchased through third-party services.
- Access After Cancellation: When you cancel, you will continue to have full access to all content included in your subscription tier through the end of your current billing cycle (e.g., if your monthly billing cycle resets on the 15th and you cancel on the 5th, you will have access until the 15th).
2. Refund Policy
As a general rule, all subscription fees are completely non-refundable.
- Partial Billing Periods: We do not offer prorated refunds or credits for partially used subscription periods, unwatched content, or immediate cancellations.
- Exceptions: We reserve the right to issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion on a case-by-case basis (for example, in the event of a prolonged technical outage on our end that prevented platform access). If we issue a refund in a specific instance, it does not obligate us to issue refunds in similar future cases.
3. Free Trials and Promotional Offers
- Transition to Paid Subscription: If you signed up for a free trial or promotional discount period, your account will automatically convert to a standard, full-price recurring paid subscription at the end of the trial period.
- Trial Cancellation: To avoid being charged the standard subscription fee, you must cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the free trial or promotional period expires.
4. Billing Disputes
If you believe you have been charged in error or have a billing discrepancy, please contact our support team at help@hintapp.us within 30 days of the charge date. Please include your account email address and transaction details. We will review your request and respond within 10-15 business days.
